The Sarpedon New Year’s Eve Dinner & Thames Cruise starts with a three-course dinner at All Bar One Charing Cross at 5pm and continues on the river from Embankment Pier on 31 December 2026, with the fireworks at midnight to welcome 2027. The boat departs at 9:15pm, with live music on board, and returns to the same pier at about 1:15am. With dinner, prices start at £369.55 per adult (12 and over) and £360.05 per child aged 4 to 11; a cruise-only ticket is also sold, and both tickets are in the price table on this page. Cancellation is free until 1 December 2026.
The optional dinner at All Bar One and the cruise from Embankment Pier
With the dinner ticket, the evening begins at All Bar One on Villiers Street, next to Charing Cross station, with a welcome drink and three courses. From there, the street leads down to Victoria Embankment and Embankment Pier. With the cruise-only ticket, the night starts at the pier.
On board there is live music and a bar. The Sarpedon cruises through central London past Tower Bridge, The Shard and the London Eye, all lit up for the night, and as midnight approaches guests head out onto the open deck for the fireworks.
The night, step by step
5:00pm — All Bar One Charing Cross (dinner ticket)
6 Villiers Street, WC2N 6NQ: a welcome drink, then a three-course dinner.
8:15pm — Check-in at Embankment Pier
Check-in is the same for both tickets. Boarding starts at 9:00pm and the Sarpedon leaves at 9:15pm.
Midnight — the fireworks from the open deck
The countdown, then the display launched from around the London Eye.
About 1:15am — back at Embankment Pier
The cruise ends where it began, on Victoria Embankment.
Sarpedon or Thomas Doggett?
Both cruises can be booked on their own or with a three-course restaurant dinner first. The Sarpedon takes children from age 4, and its dinner is at All Bar One by Charing Cross. The Thomas Doggett is for ages 12 and up and pairs a Greek dinner at The Real Greek with an escorted walk to Bankside Pier.
Before you book
Check-in at Embankment Pier is at 8:15pm and the boat departs on time at 9:15pm: latecomers cannot be accommodated. With the dinner ticket, be at All Bar One at 5pm and leave time to walk to the pier afterwards. To enter the pier you need both your e-ticket and your boarding pass.
Child tickets are for ages 4 to 11, with an adult; from 12, guests pay the adult fare, and children under 4 cannot board. The bar on board accepts cash only, and a valid ID is needed to buy alcohol. Luggage and large bags of any kind are not allowed on board.
Roads across central London may close early for the fireworks, so check Transport for London before you travel. As on every Thames cruise that night, the final position for the display depends on river traffic, weather and tides, and the captain’s decision on the night is final. Cancellation is free until 5:00pm on Tuesday 1 December 2026, 30 days before the cruise.
