This Boxing Day trip to Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle runs on 26 December 2026, leaving Bus Stop 1, Bulleid Way, Victoria, SW1W 9SH at 8:30am and returning around 7:00pm, about 11 hours. Entry to Warwick Castle is included — the Warwick Castle Dungeon is not. Lunch is not included, and guiding is in English only, with no other language available. From £109 per adult, free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
A castle you actually go into
Warwick Castle is the reason to take this tour rather than its Christmas Day counterpart. Entry is included, and the State Rooms inside are dressed as Victorian interiors — not seventeenth-century, whatever you may read elsewhere. The Castle Dungeon is a separate paid attraction and is not part of your ticket.
Oxford and Stratford, on foot
The day also takes in Oxford, whose colleges were used as film locations for the Harry Potter series, and Stratford-upon-Avon. Shakespeare's birthplace is closed over the holidays and is seen from the outside.
Bring money for lunch: no meal is included on this tour, which is part of why it costs £90 less than the Christmas Day version.
Castle, or lunch and the Cotswolds
The Christmas Day tour covers the same two towns on 25 December, adds a drive through the Cotswolds and includes a three-course Christmas lunch with wine, for £199. This one trades both for a castle you can walk into — and returns to Kensington or Victoria depending on traffic.
