    Description

This Boxing Day tour is a 10-hour round trip from Victoria to Kent on 26 December 2026, leaving at 8:30am and returning at about 6:00pm. Entry to Leeds Castle and entry to Canterbury Cathedral are both included, along with a photo stop at the White Cliffs of Dover and a drive through Greenwich. Travel is by luxury coach with a professional guide. From £124 per adult, cancellable up to 24 hours before departure.

The day the cathedral opens its doors

Three of our tours go to Canterbury over the Christmas period, and they are not interchangeable. On Christmas Eve the city has its wooden market and the cathedral is seen from outside. On Christmas Day there is the Sung Eucharist. On 26 December the market has packed up — and the cathedral is open as a monument, with your entry already paid.

It is the day to look up. The cathedral was founded in 597, has seen 104 archbishops, and is where Thomas Becket was killed in 1170. Nothing about that is visible from the pavement outside.

    Leeds Castle, before the crowd

The morning belongs to Leeds Castle, in the Kent countryside — over 900 years old, built in the middle of a lake, and tied to a long line of English kings and queens. The coach then continues to the coast for a photo stop at the White Cliffs of Dover, and passes through Greenwich on the way back into London.

    Or the Christmas Eve version

The same route runs on 24 December as the Christmas Eve tour to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Greenwich. That one has the Christmas market at Whitefriars Square, with more than seventy wooden chalets — but the cathedral is viewed from the outside only. Market or cathedral: that is the choice between the two dates.

    Itinerary

    Leeds Castle

The first stop is Leeds Castle, in the Kent countryside. Over 900 years old, its history runs through English kings and queens, British aristocracy and key moments in the country's past, including the Second World War. The building sits in the middle of a lake. Entry is included.

    Canterbury Cathedral

Canterbury is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its cathedral dates back to the year 597. Once a pilgrimage destination, it is the reason most visitors come. On 26 December your entry is included — the Christmas Eve version of this tour sees it from the outside only.

    White Cliffs of Dover

A photo stop on the coast, where the chalk face drops straight into the Channel.

    Greenwich

The coach passes through Greenwich on the way back into London.
