The Singalong Christmas Lights Tour is a 90-minute ride on a closed-top bus through the illuminated West End, from 13 November 2026 to 4 January 2027 on the dates open in the booking calendar (there is no tour on 31 December). It departs from Bus Stop 1, Bulleid Way, Victoria, London SW1W 9SR at 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm, with check-in 15 minutes earlier. A mince pie, two shortbread biscuits, two drinks of your choice and water are included, and carols are sung on board. Children under 5 are not admitted. From £34 on the lower deck.
The one where you sing
The bus is pink, the roof is closed, and Christmas classics play all the way, with everyone encouraged to sing along. That is what sets this tour apart from the other two.
The lights are the same lights — Oxford Street, Regent Street, the Strand, Piccadilly — seen through large windows rather than from an open deck. What you get instead of the open air is a roof over your head, a table, a mince pie, two shortbread biscuits, two drinks of your choice and Christmas songs to sing along to.
The rule that decides it: no under-5s
Children under 5 are not permitted on this tour, at any price and in any seat. It is the single most important thing to check before booking, and it is the reason families with toddlers end up on one of the other two buses.
Under-18s may travel accompanied by a paying adult. Alcohol is served only to over-18s on production of valid photo identification.
Closed top
Not an open-top bus. You see the displays through glass, out of the wind and rain, which in a London December is a real argument — and the reason this tour works when it rains.
A table, and what is on it
One mince pie, two shortbread biscuits and two drinks per person (mulled wine, hot chocolate or orange juice), plus water, served at your seat. The mince pie is suitable for vegetarians and vegans; the shortbread is not vegan. Tables may be shared with other guests.
Practical details
There is no toilet on board and the tour lasts 90 minutes. Wheelchair users must sit in one of the fixed seats on the lower deck. December traffic can be heavy, so the route may vary slightly from day to day to keep the bus moving and to take in as many displays as possible.
Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the travel date. For departures on 26 and 27 December, free cancellation runs up to and including 23 December 2026.

The London Christmas Lights Tour is the open-top, panoramic version: cheaper, colder, no food, and no minimum age.
