Itinerary
Windsor
The first stop of the day will be the beautiful town of Windsor, a very popular destination thanks to the historic Windsor Castle. Although the castle is closed on Christmas Day, you will still fall in love with this charming and aristocratic town!
Oxford
The second stop on the Christmas tour is Oxford, where you’ll relax and enjoy a classic Christmas lunch in a traditional British pub, featuring roast turkey with all the trimmings and Christmas dessert. This delicious three-course meal, including a vegetarian main option, will be just the break you need before continuing your journey. You’ll visit the city of Oxford, home to one of the world’s most famous and prestigious universities. This vibrant place boasts buildings in every style of English architecture and has a unique charm you’ll discover while strolling its cobbled streets.
Avebury
The final stop of this very special Christmas Day will be Avebury, where you’ll see the famous stone circles. This Neolithic monument, made up of three stone circles, is, like Stonehenge, one of the most well-known prehistoric sites in the UK and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The true purpose of this fascinating site remains unknown: listen to the intriguing theories surrounding the stone circle and decide for yourself what Avebury means!
Avebury will be a wonderful surprise, and after your visit, you will return to London, where the tour ends at Victoria around 6:30 PM.
